Unlike many of our other success stories, Matt approached the program with a slightly more "laid back" attitude. Even though he brought a more mellow approach to his training sessions, he remained determined to reach his goals, and left us more confident and athletic. When he got here, he refused to ride a bike or even run at all. By the time he left, he was doing the Bike-Hike-Bike at least three times a week – on his own, in addition to his scheduled activities – and was runnning four miles to and from boot camp even with a nagging shin injury. He lost 65 pounds, and is still working hard to lose even more on his own. Matt is a great example of how someone doesn’t necessarily need to be extremely motivated to be successful in our program.
