Weight Loss Camps
Weight loss camps are a great way to lose those pounds while also having fun. If you're someone who has tried more than one diet, you've probably discovered that diet alone will not prove to be effective in the long run. Even worse, being on a diet and constantly watching what you eat is simply not fun. At Camp Technique, we know that a rigorous diet most often does not fit in with your lifestyle. Are you supposed to eat celery at a birthday when everyone else is eating cake? And what about food-filled holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas? Our philosophy is not one of complete denial. That's because total denial is not only unrealistic, but it almost always sets you up for failure. Understanding Your Body Is the First Step to Weight Loss Learning about your own body and what it needs and doesn't can be enlightening and fun. After spending time at Camp Technique, you'll learn to recognize when your body is hungry, needs water, or needs a rest. You'll also learn not to beat yourself up over having a desert. Bottom line--you'll be in charge of your body and work with it, instead of against it. |
